Lions K-O Jacks, 4-0
|
California Lions starter Anthony Render found his groove in his team's 4-0 win over the Nevada Jacks. The win gives California a record of 20-11.
The Lions got a big at-bat from left fielder Denny Hunt. For the game, Hunt was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave California a 2-0 lead.
Hunt told a California Gazette reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
