Indians Cruise to AAA East Championship with Sweep
|
On the strength of a 3-1 win at Harbor Park, the Indianapolis Indians have swept the Norfolk Tides to win the AAA East Division Series.
"We expected to win, but I don't think we anticipated taking the series 3-0," said series MVP Marc Brower. "That's a fantastic team over there, but we wouldn't be denied."
For the series, Brower had a 0.00 ERA over 8 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record.
The AAA East Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the AAA East Division Series finishes.
