Raucous Minute Maid Park Crowd Propels Astros to 6-3 Victory; Series Tied at 1
|
The Houston Astros topped the New York Yankees by the score of 6-3 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Division Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Houston starter Lance McCullers Jr., who threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball in the win.
The Astros picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," McCullers Jr. told the Houston Today.
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 10th , 2023 at Yankee Stadium in New York.
