Injury Setback for Warhawks Winton Tuesday, February 5th , 2030 Yesterday Lima starting pitcher Luis Winton sustained a setback in his recovery from an elbow sprain. The Warhawks medical staff told him it would be at least 2-3 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Winton told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Winton worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. In 11 starts this season Winton has compiled a 4-2 record and a 2.09 ERA. |
