Young Bashes 6 Base Hits Thursday, December 20th , 2029 6 times is the charm -- at least for Jeff Young. The Lima Warhawks left fielder tore up the Buenos Aires Liberty to the tune of 6 hits in 6 at-bats at Liberty Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Young powered the Warhawks to a 16-3 win. "Young was a tough out today," Buenos Aires manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jeff Young singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Young is currently batting .323 with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs.
