Spieth Rips 3 HR Thursday, December 20th , 2029 Steve Spieth was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 9-8 Asuncion Diamond Dawgs triumph at Diamond Dawgs Ballpark today. The 25-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Diamond Dawgs past the Suriname Gryphons. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Spieth told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 4-for-5, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Steve Spieth grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Edgar Rincon in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 9th. So far this season Spieth is hitting .435 with 3 home runs. |
