Munoz's 25-Game Hit Streak Ends Monday, January 8th , 2029 The Bridgetown Flight did something to Juan Munoz no team had done for the last 25 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Thunder, who came away with the 3-2 victory at Bridgetown Grounds. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 22-year-old second baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." So far this year Munoz has hit .338 with 7 home runs, 30 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
