Banfi Raps Texas for 5 Hits Saturday, June 23rd, 2035 Ivano Banfi did a number on the Rangers in the Kansas City 18-4 victory today, and the number was 5. The Royals first baseman banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Globe Life Park in Arlington (OMLB) to lead his club past the Texas Rangers. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Ivano Banfi hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Stu Stephens in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Pat Gibson in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
