25-Game Hitting Streak for Chambers Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Ross Chambers, second baseman for the Buffalo Counts, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in his club's 5-2 victory today over the Lake Erie Crushers at Sprenger Health Care Systems Stadium today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Ross Chambers doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, walked in the 10th and flied out in the 11th. Chambers is hitting at a .324 mark this season. His stats show 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has played 62 games for the Counts. |
