Player of the Week Trophy to Wakamatsu Monday, August 4th , 2025 At the age of 28, Luke Wakamatsu might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Evansville shortstop put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .636 batting average. For his efforts Wakamatsu collected the Frontier League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 7 hits in 11 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 4 games. So far this season Wakamatsu is batting .212 with 7 home runs. |
