Schnell Top Rookie This Year Saturday, September 27th , 2025 The top-rated rookie for 2025 in the Frontier League has been selected and the honor went to Washington left fielder Nick Schnell. It was a season to remember for the 25-year-old Wild Things newcomer. He wrapped up his first year with a .277 batting average, 23 doubles, no triples and 27 home runs. Schnell also had 71 RBIs and scored 75 times. He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 18. Victor Garcia of the Schaumburg Boomers finished second in voting, while Alan Trejo of the Florence Y'alls finished third.
