NL Announces Best Pitcher for August Friday, September 1st , 2023 When Devin Williams strolls in from the bullpen, he is a good bet to nail down the victory for the Milwaukee Brewers. That's the way it was last month as he performed his job in an almost flawless fashion. Today he was honored as August's Pitcher of the Month by the National League. The Milwaukee pitcher compiled a 4-0 record, 5 saves, 18 strikeouts and a 0.73 ERA in 12.1 innings over 12 relief appearances. In 2023 Williams has collected 32 saves.
