Phillies Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 10th , 2023 Philadelphia Phillies fans have long since given up any meager playoff hopes. The Phillies made it official today, becoming mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Philadelphia last appeared in the postseason in 2011. This is their 12th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 140 times in their 153 - year history. Philadelphia last won the World Series in 2008. |
