Royals Shohei Ohtani Injured: Day-to-Day Wednesday, September 13th , 2023 Kansas City's star right fielder Shohei Ohtani injured himself in a game against the Chicago White Sox, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a strained oblique and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Ohtani with a smile as he talked to reporters. For the year Ohtani has hit .259 with 20 home runs, 62 RBIs and scored 57 runs. |
