Reds Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 27th , 2023 The Cincinnati Reds organization won't be ending this season in celebration. The team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2020.In total, the Reds have missed the playoffs 136 times in their 153-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Reds have missed the playoffs 7 times. Cincinnati last won the World Series in 1990. |
