Toronto Wins Top Spot in American League North Division Saturday, September 30th , 2023 The manager of the Toronto Blue Jays said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's American League North Division championship. "This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," he said. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager." It's the club's 7th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 3rd World Series. "We want that title badly," said closer Ryan Weathers as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start." |
