Blue Jays Cruise to League Championship Series with Sweep Tuesday, October 10th , 2023 CJ Abrams said he expected the Division Series to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Toronto Blue Jays encountered little resistance in sweeping the Seattle Mariners, to advance to the League Championship Series. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Abrams. Toronto won the final game by a 5-3 count and were led in the series by Abrams, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .467 with 0 home runs. He also drove in 3 RBI and scored 1 runs. The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
