Williams Gets Award for Relief Work Monday, November 13th , 2023 The National League Reliever of the Year for 2023 has been bestowed on Milwaukee Brewers relief specialist Devin Williams. The 29-year-old bullpen ace, out of Florissant, Missouri, nailed down the award with 44 saves in 69 relief appearances, 96 strikeouts in 69.1 innings and a record of 6 wins and 2 losses to go with his 0.65 ERA. Roansy Contreras of the Pittsburgh Pirates finished second in voting, while Brusdar Graterol of the Los Angeles Dodgers finished third. |
