NL Best Newcomer Named Monday, November 13th , 2023 2023 was a good year for Tyler Callihan. In his debut season the Cincinnati rookie rapped out a .255 batting average with 154 hits in 605 at-bats, 29 home runs and 87 RBIs. He walked 49 times and had a .321 OBP. Those numbers got him the National League Rookie of the Year Award. Lenny Torres of the Pittsburgh Pirates finished second in voting, while Alex Vallejo of the Chicago Cubs finished third. |
