Rehab Road Tough for Orioles Freddy O'Connor Sunday, June 16th , 2030 Just when it looked like Freddy O'Connor would soon return to the Baltimore Orioles, the right fielder suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a strained abdominal muscle. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when O'Connor experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least one week. In 60 games this year O'Connor has posted a .270 average and put up these numbers: 16 home runs, 54 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
