AAA E Player of the Week Named Monday, June 10th , 2030 Phenomenal is the word for last week's performance by Luis Winton of the Gwinnett Stripers. He went on quite a roll and hauled in the latest Triple-A East Player of the Week Award today. He put up a 2-0 won-lost mark while working 16.1 innings and holding enemy batters to a .154 average. Winton also chalked up 9 strikeouts as he registered a 0.00 ERA. On the season Winton has compiled a 4-4 mark with a 2.99 ERA in 11 starts. In pitching 75.1 innings he has 39 strikeouts and 29 walks while limiting the opposition to a .232 batting average. |
