Nolte was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 10 months.

So far this season Nolte has a record of 2-6 with 32 strikeouts and 35 walks in 71.1 innings and a 3.66 ERA.
