Greenfield Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, June 22nd , 2030 It was a hits blitz for Paulshawn Greenfield at First Horizon Park today. The Nashville Sounds shortstop tore into the Memphis Redbirds for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Redbirds swept past the Sounds 8-3 to ruin Greenfield's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Nashville manager explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Paulshawn was nice but it wasn't enough." Paulshawn Greenfield singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. Presently Greenfield is hitting .275 with no home runs and 10 RBIs. He has played in 29 games and scored 5 times. View Boxscore |
