Durham Loses Jon Vargas for Season Tuesday, June 25th , 2030 The season is apparently over for Jon Vargas. The Durham Bulls medical staff informed the club that the first baseman will be out at least 10 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Vargas was hurt in the game against Indianapolis while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Vargas has 7 home runs and a .212 batting average. |
