Syracuse Loses Gonzales for Year Wednesday, July 3rd , 2030 The season is finished for Jose Gonzales of the Syracuse Mets. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mets reliever suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Rochester Red Wings. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal. So far this year Gonzales has 4 saves in 11 relief appearances with a 1-5 record and 4.94 ERA. |
