Monday, September 9th , 2030
Mike Mulqueen expressed his disappointment when he learned that a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament would sideline him for 11 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the lineup," explained Mulqueen. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Nashville Sounds. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement.

This year Mulqueen has worked 93 innings with 48 strikeouts en route to a 7-5 record and a 5.61 ERA.
