Schraub Shuts Out Worcester Monday, September 9th , 2030 Before the game, Rafael Schraub said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Louisville Slugger Field, the Bats pitcher blanked the Worcester Red Sox 4-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Schraub said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my fastball even when I was behind in the count." The Louisville starter held Worcester scoreless, giving up 4 hits while registering 6 strikeouts and issuing no walks. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," Red Sox manager said in a postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose." Schraub has a 7-10 season record so far.
