5-for-6 Day for Cera Thursday, August 1st , 2030 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Sugar Land's 18-2 win over Tucson today, center fielder Tony Cera was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Cera said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Tony Cera doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Danny Almeyda in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
