Pensacola's Mares to Miss Season Thursday, July 18th , 2030 The season is ending on a bad note for Juan Mares, starting pitcher for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Mares was hurt against the Chattanooga Lookouts while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 13 months. For the year Mares has a 6-2 record with a 3.38 ERA in 16 starts. |
