Beaman Wins AA S's Best Bat Award Thursday, August 1st , 2030 Dave Beaman has a lot going for him. The Chattanooga center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Double-A South has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 20 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .316 with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This year Beaman has hit at a .245 pace and produced 42 RBIs, 9 home runs and scored 28 runs. |
