Braves Lose Bridges for Season Tuesday, September 10th , 2030 Jimmy Bridges had to leave the Braves game against Chattanooga after suffering shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. He will be out of the lineup at least 4-5 months. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong." Presently Bridges has a 10-5 mark in 26 starts with a 2.55 ERA. He has given up 114 hits in 162.1 innings, struck out 113 and issued 46 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .197 batting average against him. |
