Crawdads Atkins to Miss Year Sunday, July 28th , 2030 "It was a freak thing," said a dejected Xavier Atkins after injuring himself in a game against Wilmington. The Hickory manager told reporters that he's expected to miss up to 8 months with a torn labrum. The Crawdads are expected to announce a roster move in the next day or two. This season Atkins has made 48 relief appearances with no saves. In 59 innings he has fanned 54 hitters and recorded no wins and 6 losses with a 7.78 ERA. |
