Hot Rods Ian Alexander to Miss Year Sunday, August 25th , 2030 The season is finished for Ian Alexander of the Bowling Green Hot Rods. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Hot Rods starting pitcher suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Team doctors said it would take at least 11-12 months to heal. Alexander has a 0-1 season record so far. In 0 starts, he has fanned 45 batters in 45.2 innings with a 6.31 ERA. |
