Phillies Heading to Round 2 Sunday, September 30th , 2029 It was a sweet sweep for the Philadelphia (GCL) Phillies as they eased past the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays to advance to the Round 2. Philadelphia (GCL) won the final game by a 13-4 count and the series 4-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Chris Ladd, who was named series MVP. For the series, Ladd hit .533 with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Philadelphia (GCL) Phillies will play against the Washington (GCL) Nationals in the next round.
