Tampa Bay (GCL) Out of Playoff Race Friday, September 13th , 2030 The playoff hopes of the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. The Rays have made the playoffs 6 times in their 10 years as a Gulf Coast Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2026. |
