Jim Thompson Will Miss 11 Months Monday, September 30th , 2030 Miami (GCL) reliever Jim Thompson suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Orioles. According to club doctors Thompson has a torn labrum. Although Thompson has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This year Thompson has chalked up a 4.15 ERA with 3 saves. In 9 relief appearances he has put up a 0-1 won-lost mark and struck out 37 batters in 39 innings. |
