5-for-5 Day for Kaplan Sunday, August 19th , 2029 The St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals couldn't stop J.J. Kaplan today, but they stopped the Miami (GCL) Marlins, 9-3. Kaplan went 5-for-5 in the game at Roger Dean Stadium, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for J.J. -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Miami (GCL) manager . "The Cardinals were on their game today." J.J. Kaplan tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
