No Playoff Berth Coming for Houston (DSL)

It certainly could have been worse this year for the Houston (DSL) Astros, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today.
Houston (DSL) hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 10 seasons in the DSL.

New York N (DSL) Playoff Hopes Officially Zero
Monday, September 16th , 2030
Despite their best efforts, the New York N (DSL) Mets were officially eliminated from playoff contention today.
This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2026. In total, the Mets have missed the playoffs 8 times in their 10-year history.

New Jersey (DSL) Clinches Postseason Appearance
Monday, September 16th , 2030
The New Jersey (DSL) Pioneers clubhouse turned into a celebration zone tonight as the team marked the occasion of officially having qualified for the playoffs.
"That's what it's all about," said a jubilant Cameron Fobbs, before going off to celebrate with his teammates.
At a record of 38-14, the franchise will be trying to have their regular season success translate to the 3rd Dominican Rookie League championship for the franchise.
