Blue Crabs Sweep York Wednesday, September 24th , 2025 It's party time in Southern Maryland. The confetti is flying and residents are smiling. The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs have reached the mountaintop, capturing the 2025 Round 2 today. They defeated the York Revolution 6-5 at Regency Furniture Stadium to officially wrap up the series 4-0. Asked how it feels to be champion, first baseman Sean Bouchard was to the point. "It feels great, like a million bucks. I'm so happy right now, not just for me but for all the guys," he said. "We put a lot of work into this and deserve to be champions." The team is planning a victory parade and fan appreciation day later in the week. Southern Maryland finished the regular season 73-67 and claimed second place in the Atlantic League North Division.
