The Tri-City Dust Devils beat the Hillsboro Hops, 7-3. Tri-City pitcher and Mays Chapel, Maryland, native Craig Yann led the way. Yann went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 2. His record improves to 2-2. The 5th-place Dust Devils improved to 13-23.
The Dust Devils got a big at-bat from left fielder Javy Lamas. For the game, Lamas went 1 for 4 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
