Pitcher Tom Howell was sensational for the Aberdeen Ironbirds in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Auburn Doubledays. Howell picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Howell, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up no walks. With the win, Aberdeen has a record of 37-15. Auburn falls to 18-34.
