Kansas City Won't Make Playoffs Friday, September 28th , 2063 Kansas City Royals manager Mikey Diekroeger said his club is "frustrated" to no longer have a chance at the postseason. The club was mathematically eliminated from a possible playoff berth earlier today. The Royals have made the playoffs 26 times in their 95 years as a Out Of Options Baseball League franchise.
