RiPL Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Bird Thursday, June 1st , 2051 Prospective free agents love to have hot streaks and Dan Bird is no exception. The Houston first baseman capped off a fine month by hauling in Batter of the Month honors in the Rob in Phoenix League. In May Bird hit .362 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 21 runs scored. So far in 2051 Bird is batting .321 with 13 home runs, 39 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 196 at-bats and a .404 OBP. |
