Gutiérrez Earns RiPL Rookie of Month Thursday, June 1st , 2051 Esteban Gutiérrez's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Toronto first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .238 with 4 doubles, no triples and 4 home runs. Gutiérrez also scored 8 times and drove in 12 runs. On the year Gutiérrez is hitting .286 with 55 hits, 10 home runs, 32 RBIs, .378 OBP and has scored 23 runs. |
