Swap: Guzmán for Castle Monday, June 26th , 2051 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Houston and Philadelphia confirmed an agreement. The Hurricane dealt 28-year old C Jai Brusnahan and 33-year old SS Edgardo Guzmán to the Pride for 34-year old C Jeff Castle, 20-year old minor league CF Manny Silva, and a 2nd round draft pick. For the season Guzmán has produced 48 hits in 149 at-bats for a .322 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .346 clip. This year Castle has hit at a .317 clip with 10 RBIs, 3 home runs and 8 runs scored. |
