Nakano Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, July 12th , 2053 Yo Nakano has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 26-year-old New Jersey Zombies third baseman extended his streak to 20 games, going 1-for-3 as New Jersey got the best of the Beaverton Bulldogs at Brick City Stadium, 6-3. "Yo has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Zombies manager Kez Omunson said. Yo Nakano singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th and flied out in the 6th. In 16 games Nakano is hitting .391 this season with 27 hits, 6 home runs, 9 RBIs, 3 walks, .425 OBP and has scored 17 runs. |
