O'Brian Hits in 20 Straight Games Friday, June 9th , 2051 Nate O'Brian of the Cheyenne Buffaloes extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 12-8 triumph over the Silver Springs Mech-a-Hawks at Buffalo Park. "Nate has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Buffaloes manager joked after the game. Nate O'Brian singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. O'Brian is hitting .394 this year with 10 home runs and 29 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .472, 21 walks and scored 32 times. |
