Petersen on Fire: Burns Mid-Iowa with 3 HR

Hyattsville AllHawks right fielder Edmund Petersen left the Mid-Iowa pitching staff in ruins at Black Wolves Park today, beating the Black Wolves 15-4 with a prodigious three-home run performance.
"The last one was totally unexpected," Petersen told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three."
For the game, the Hyattsville right fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 3 runs.
Edmund Petersen hit a two-run home run off Ronnie Haupt in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jon McNeill in the 9th.
Thus far in 2051 Petersen is hitting .388 with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs, 17 runs scored and has compiled a .433 OBP.
