Lanzo Tarducci Drills 3 HR in One Game Sunday, June 18th , 2051 Fans are still buzzing after El Paso whipped the Kenner Gators by the score of 9-6 today at El Paso Park. Lanzo Tarducci smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Tarducci said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Tarducci said. "Three is just... wow." Lanzo Tarducci hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th. This season in 45 games Tarducci is batting .268 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 20 times. |
