ML Selects Rivera July's Top Starter Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 Jorge Rivera had an outstanding July -- so good that the Melogroovy League presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Suns would be without Rivera," one fan is quoted as saying. In July Rivera dominated the competition, running up a 5-0 record, a 0.42 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 43 innings. This year Rivera has compiled a 7-0 mark with a 0.64 ERA in 7 starts. |
